James Bond DB5 (10262) - Firewall and front bumper

Another of the cool Bond car features was unveiled to us last night as we assembled the front bumper. It turns out that the license plate sits on a rectangular structure that swivels, allowing the drive to switch between 4 different license plates!

In the below picture, I have positioned the swiveling plate in between 2 positions to showcase its operation. You can see it is transitioning between the classic British BMT 216 A plate and the French 4711-EA-62 plate.

Here is a shot with the English plate on full display. Other plate options include the Swiss plate LU 6789 and a James Bond vanity plate JB-007. Similar to the rear bumper, there is also a lot of chrome in use, adding to the "bling" factor.

We also added in the firewall last night, although this is harder to see and altogether far less interesting and exciting than the revolving license plate.
